CALL OF DUTY WW2 MULTIPLAYER
Usability, Menus, and Onboarding
Conducted 1 on 1 usability tests to ascertain the most user-friendly way to implement onboarding for one of WWII's biggest new features - a shared social hub called "Headquarters"
Helped re-haul the menu and UI to move towards a player-friendly system
Researched quality of life improvements (wrapping menus, clearing up confusing error messages, etc.)
Conducted user research on the complete overhaul of the CoD Perk system, and how to best onboard players to the new setup through tutorials and in-game tasks
Conducted both 1 on 1 and large usability studies on testers' abilities to create their soldier class utilizing a system they had never seen before
Map Gameplay Studies
Extensively tested every Multiplayer map on both the base game and DLC's, as well as a completely new game mode, War
Communicated with multiple development teams and studios as to what our research data meant, and not just what players were saying, but why they were having certain issues
Researched reception to objective balance, map aesthetics, map spawns, and more
Performed extensive analysis on Multiplayer map spawn points, identifying key gameplay issues that testers were struggling with, but could not accurately articulate

A Big One - 48 Player Usability Test
We conducted a massive 48 player usability test to fully flesh out any pre-launch issues with WWII's social hub, Headquarters, which could fit up to 48 players at once. We had to coordinate the study between two labs, each containing 24 players who needed to be simultaneously in the same lobby, experiencing the same content.
It was an intense challenge to keep player experiences identical across a sample size that large, but the quantitative results that came out of a sample size that big were invaluable, and gave our team some great insights into gameplay we had not seen before.
